We are a super friendly, lively and casual church. If you’re a first time visitor our simple advice is just turn up and give us a try. That’s it! There’s no pressure to say or join in with anything, please feel free to engage as much or as little as you like, but we would love to say hello!

Way-In is a 4 week course for anyone new to St John's, who want to become involved and who are interested in learning more about our vision, ministries and community life!
The Way-In course aims to introduce you to key aspects of St John's including meeting members of the leadership team.
Start by saying hello to one of welcome team on a Sunday!
Pick up one of our Hello & Welcome cards on a Sunday and fill it in. This helps us to get to know you a bit better and gives you an opportunity to ask us about our church. We can then get in touch and help answer questions or give you more information about how to get involved at St John’s. Alternatively email us on hello@stjohnsharborne.org to let us know you are new!
Joining one of our small groups is a fantastic way to meet more people from St John’s - it’s essentially a smaller community of friends helping to support each other during the week. Read more about small groups here.
Once you decide to call St John’s your home, then we would love for you to serve on one of our teams. It’s a great way to get to know like-minded people who share similar skills and passions as you. Find out more about our teams and how to sign up.
If you are a student in Birmingham - welcome!
