We have a dedicated prayer room at St John’s which is open during the week to anyone who would like a space to pray. 

Prayer FOR work


First Monday monthly | 06.30 - 07.00
St John’s (Meeting Room 2)

This group meets for a light breakfast followed by a focussed time of praying for those in all forms of work, seeking to bless those in the workplace.

Rest with God


First Tuesday monthly | 14.30 - 15.30
The Crossway, B17 0DT (Upstairs)

A drop in designed for providing a space for people to ‘rest with God’. Stay for as long or little as you want. 

Early Morning Prayer

Early Morning Prayer is a space to pray for our community, our church and our world. Join us as we start the day in prayer. 


Celtic Prayer


Every Thursday (term time) | 09.15 - 09.30

A 15 minute prayer top up! Stop by and join this group as they read through the Northumbrian Community Celtic Prayer on Thursday mornings. 

Intercessory Prayer

As part of our partnership with Resurrection Church Beirut we’re holding a monthly prayer gathering. Anyone is welcome to join this strategic and exciting work.
