  • At St John’s, we want everyone to feel they belong. As part of the Welcome Team, you’ll help create a friendly, welcoming environment by greeting people as they arrive, helping them find a seat, or serving refreshments after the service.

It’s a simple but meaningful way to get to know others and help make church a place where everyone feels at home – whether it’s their first time or they’ve been coming for years.

  • Join us in helping children at St John’s discover what it means to know and love Jesus. As part of the Children’s Team, you’ll be involved in sharing Bible stories, chatting about faith, playing games, and getting stuck into crafts and activities.

You don’t need to be an expert – just someone who enjoys spending time with children and is happy talking about Jesus in a fun, age-appropriate way. It’s a joyful and rewarding way to serve, and a brilliant opportunity to help shape young lives for Christ.

  • We’re passionate about seeing young people grow in their faith and discover what it means to follow Jesus in everyday life. As a Youth Team Member at St John’s, you’ll help create a space where young people feel known, valued, and encouraged in their journey with God.

You could be involved on Sundays—getting stuck into games, teaching, or discussions—or during the week by leading or supporting a small group. Whether you're up front or more behind the scenes, your presence and care can make a lasting impact.

If you’re excited about building relationships, opening the Bible with young people, and walking alongside them through their teenage years, we’d love to have you on the team.

  • Each week, over 100 families from our local community come through the doors for Toddlers—a fun, lively space where little ones play and parents connect. It’s a beautiful opportunity to show God’s love in a practical way and build relationships that can transform lives.

We need helping hands to make it happen—whether it’s setting up toys, welcoming families at the door, serving refreshments, or packing away at the end. Just an hour or two of your time on a Monday or Wednesday could make a big difference. Or could you serve on a Tuesday afternoon, offering a warm drink and listening ear to new mums at our Parent & Baby group?

There’s a role for everyone—come and be part of the fun!

There are also administrative roles which help support our debt advisors behind the scenes.
