Growing up

Church is so much more than just meeting together on a Sunday. Our Christian faith is a journey, and one that we are on together. At St John’s we want to prioritise ‘growing up’ as a church family, this means gathering together in smaller communities outside of a Sunday to do life together. Teaching, learning, building relationships, and serving one another in small groups is a key part of supporting each other through life ups and downs.

Finding a small group

There are loads of different styles of groups, all with various times and locations, so we are sure you will be able to find one that’s right for you!

Check out our small groups map, you can use the filter buttons to select a location, day or type of group depending on your interests, to get a better idea of what we have on.

Something for everyone

St John’s small groups are made up of four main groups. ‘Home Groups’ which are based around a geographical location, ‘Interest Groups’ for people with common hobbies, whereas ‘Talk Together Groups’ and ‘MNet Groups’ are for women and men to meet separately. The majority of our groups currently meet in peoples homes. Contact Hannah on smallgroups@stjohnsharborne.org if you want to join a group or find out more. Click below to read about our groups in more detail.
