Getting married?

Congratulations! Getting married is such an exciting time and we are thrilled to be part of your journey. Making a lifelong commitment to one another in front of friends and family is such a special day as well as receiving God’s blessing. If you are interested in getting married at St John’s you are in the right place.

We have put together a useful document of information to help answer some of your questions about weddings/banns at St John’s. Alternatively, a great source of information is yourchurchwedding.org, which can help answer questions about planning and eligibility for a church wedding.

The Marriage Course is for couples who are seeking to strengthen their relationship. Some couples do the course to intentionally invest in their relationship, others are looking to address more specific challenges. Either way, the course offers essential tools and practical ideas to help you build a relationship that lasts a lifetime.

The Marriage Course is based on Christian principles but designed for all couples with or without a church background. It is also available online.
