Becoming: Encountering Christ. Being Transparent. Joining His Mission| The Table Gives Us Christ | Ed Chan-Stroud
The Christian life is a lifelong journey of becoming. Jesus doesn't simply call us to believe certain things about him, but to be with him, become like him and join him in his mission. Discipleship is therefore not a one-off decision but a lifelong process of encountering Christ, being progressively transformed into his likeness, and being sent into the world as his people. For the last two years, Encounter, Formation and Mission have been part of the language of St John's. This series gives us an opportunity to go deeper into what those three words mean and, more importantly, what they look like in the lives of ordinary disciples.
