The opening section of the book of Acts picks up where the book of Luke leaves off and describes Jesus’ ascent into heaven. This moment is the launchpad of the Mission of the disciples to proclaim the Kingdom of God to ‘the ends of the Earth’. The first eight chapters offers us a training manual for the invitation Jesus has given to each of us and to His Church to be his witnesses of the Gospel. This series aims to journey through the early section of this book exploring the issues and questions it raises for us today.
