'We support and inspire Birmingham's business community...'

Established 16 years ago, ChaplaincyPlus is a Christian charity working with businesses in Birmingham City Centre. We aim to support and inspire Birmingham’s business community to live life to the full. Some of the things we do involve running the Carols for the Business Community at St Philip’s Cathedral, meeting individually with people for talk and prayer, and organising faith and social gatherings with members.

We run various groups which are aimed at specific members of the organisation. These are City Men, City Women, City Legal, City Vibes (for those in their 20s and 30s) and The Platform, a monthly discussion group for topics of the day. These groups offer gatherings specifically aimed to be helpful and enjoyable to those in that group, as well as providing an opportunity to meet people and network.

We are currently developing a City Wellbeing Initiative which will give specific wellbeing support and input to businesses to improve the wellbeing of workers, as well as instigating behaviour which has a protective effect on wellbeing.

ChaplaincyPlus is a charity and its ability to function is dependent on donations. The organisation is immensely grateful for all the support it receives, and works hard to use it to support Christians, and those of all backgrounds and beliefs, who work in business in the city centre.
