What we’re about

The Women’s Ministry exists to encourage and empower women to flourish in God’s goodness and purpose. Whatever age or stage of life you are at, you are more than welcome to be a part of the women’s ministry at St John’s. We want to grow in faith and relationship together, developing friendship in the midst of busy lives. Our events vary from socialising over breakfast or with pizza and board games, to quiet reflective mornings, allowing space to go deeper with God.

Upcoming events

Blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water…
— Jeremiah 17 : 7 - 8a

Women’s small groups

As well as Home Groups, we run specific groups for women who want to meet midweek, called ‘Talk Together’. These groups are perfect for developing deeper connections with other women at St John’s and provide encouragement and support which can be so crucial when dealing with life’s pressures (some of our Talk Together groups have crèche facilities). Check out our small groups page to find out more about these.

Join an In Touch Group

Can you lead an In Touch Group?

We need volunteers to help us lead our new In Touch Groups! Have you got a particular interest or hobby you’d like to share with others?
Are you willing to coordinate one of these groups? The time commitment can be really flexible - from a one off event to meeting regularly.
Or do you have a space in your home or somewhere else where we could host a group?
