Join with us this week as we intentionally spend more time in prayer before the Lord. Our theme this year is ADVANCE. As followers of Jesus Christ we want to move forward and share the good news, laying our own wants and desires to one side, so that the Kingdom of God can be revealed to those that do not yet know Jesus. We encourage you to spend time listening to the Lord and bringing people before him that are on your heart. During the week, please do send in any stories or words that would encourage others.

Each day (via email) we will focus on a specific word with some thought, prayers and scripture to help us engage with what the Lord may be calling us to as a community of believers. There will also be a short daily video for those with children exploring the armour of God (essential for any soldier advancing into battle!). There will also be several opportunities throughout the week to gather together for corporate prayer.

You can follow along with our daily prayer guides by clicking on the links below. We shall all be following the same pattern so that the whole Church can pray under the same themes each day. If you are already in a small group or existing prayer group, we encourage you to use the material and to welcome people to join them in prayer during the week.

For those interested in walking and praying during the week (perhaps as part of your daily exercise) then please join us on the zoom call to coordinate with others. Helen Nixon will be coordinating and will explain more on the zoom call. (Note – you can still join the call even if you don’t intend to go out for a walk – as you can pray for particular streets in Harborne as directed). Sign up here.
