‘Autumn signals change and that is exactly what is happening in my life.’

Autumn signals change and that is exactly what is happening in my life. In October, after 45 years with CRU/Agapé UK, I will be retiring. Last spring, events led to our CRU Inner City Seattle team dissolving. My options were to move to another city or retire. Since I have chosen this area to be near family, I chose retirement - something I was considering in the near future anyway. Urban work is still on my heart and I will be volunteering with a few different ministries in the area reaching out to children, refugees and neighbourhood outreach events. Much will not be changing but I will miss the structure of my team and our various projects to help regional churches and ministries. Following Jesus and sharing His wonderful love will remain the all in all of my life and I covet your prayers in this new phase of my life.

One of the most difficult parts of this transition is ending our ‘formal’ relationship in finances and prayer. Words cannot convey my gratefulness for your faithfulness to me over the years.

Return trips to Britain will still happen in the future and I would love to hear from you at any time and will pray for you and the ongoing work of St John’s Harborne. May God bless and keep you all
