The God of Breakthrough!
2019 saw lots of breakthrough for Betel UK and we praise God for faithfulness and perfect timing.
We saw breakthrough in the lives of our men and women; with new leaders rising up. We’ve also seen God raise up new preachers who obeyed God’s prompting despite a real fear of public speaking. They’ve been such a blessing.
There are so many people who need help around the country (we’re sure you’ve noticed the increase in homelessness around the streets of Birmingham) that all of our centres have been at full capacity for much of the year. For a few years we’ve been pushing doors for new properties, but nothing seemed to open up.
This year we’ve been able to open three new houses and have a few others in the pipeline. Praise God! Many years ago, God gave our UK Pastors a vision about a new headquarters that would be used to serve the community and increase our partnership with others. After many years of waiting, Betel finally received planning permission and work has now begun. This building will enable us to grow beyond our current church capacity and hopefully have more space for the growth of our children’s ministry and outreach. Pray with us for the development and funds we need.
As a family we are so grateful for your prayers and support. It’s such an encouragement to know we don’t adventure alone.
